Attorney Christopher Millar
Christopher Millar is the founder of Millar Law, P.L.L.C. and a dedicated Arizona criminal defense attorney with experience as both a former felony prosecutor and United States Air Force veteran. His unique background allows him to anticipate the prosecution's strategies and build effective defenses for clients facing criminal charges throughout Arizona.

After serving honorably in the United States Air Force, including a deployment to Afghanistan, Christopher earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, cum laude, from Arizona State University before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.
Christopher began his legal career with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, where he prosecuted serious felony offenses, handled hundreds of criminal cases, and tried more than 30 trials to verdict. He later transitioned to criminal defense at a respected Chandler law firm before founding Millar Law, where he now focuses exclusively on defending clients charged with misdemeanors, DUIs, and serious felony offenses.

Attorney Gregory Benson
Greg earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arizona State University before graduating cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law, where he also earned a Certificate in Business Law. During law school, he was published in the Northern Illinois University Law Review, served as a student attorney with the Prisoner's Rights Project, competed in the prestigious Jessup International Moot Court Competition, and continued his collegiate volleyball career.
After law school, Greg joined the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office, where he represented clients in a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases. A seasoned trial attorney, he has successfully litigated dozens of jury trials and is committed to aggressively defending his clients both in and out of the courtroom. He believes every case should be prepared as though it will go to trial while ensuring clients understand every available option and the advantages and risks of each.
Greg is also an active leader in Arizona's legal community. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice and currently serves on the State Bar of Arizona's Criminal Jury Instructions Committee and Advancement and Improvement Committee, helping shape the future of criminal law throughout the state.
Attorney Andrea Short
Andrea Short is an Arizona native who earned her business degree from Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business, with concentrations in International Politics and International Business, before receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School.
During law school, Andrea clerked for the Honorable Judge Michael Vallejos in Denver District Court, where she gained experience in both criminal and civil matters. She also founded the Cannabis Law League, a Student Bar Association-recognized organization connecting law students with attorneys practicing cannabis law, and served as a representative for the Latino Law Students Association.
After graduating from law school, Andrea began her criminal defense career at a Phoenix criminal defense law firm, where she represented clients charged with offenses ranging from misdemeanors to the most serious felony crimes. She later joined Millar Law, where she continues to provide aggressive, strategic representation to individuals facing criminal charges throughout Arizona.
Andrea has successfully defended clients in a wide variety of misdemeanor and felony cases and is passionate about protecting the constitutional rights of those accused of crimes. She is particularly skilled at representing clients facing mental health challenges or the effects of trauma, combining compassionate advocacy with thorough case preparation and practical legal guidance. Office Manager Ashley Becraft
Ashley is originally from Wisconsin but has been a resident of Arizona for the last five years. Ashley received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, with an emphasis on Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Ashley spent the first several years after undergrad working at Amazon in the Human Resources department and assisting with various global initiatives. Her career with Amazon and development and training in other industries helped her transition into Millar Law as the Office Manager. Her role is to assist new clients navigate the criminal justice system by ensuring they are comfortable at all stages. Ashley also manages the support staff and day-to-day operations.
Paralegal Aiyana Churcher
Aiyana is a criminal defense paralegal who plays an integral role in helping clients navigate the Arizona criminal justice system. She supports the attorneys at Millar Law through every stage of a criminal case, from case preparation and legal research to reviewing discovery, preparing legal documents, managing court deadlines, and coordinating with courts, prosecutors, and outside agencies.
Aiyana earned her Associate Degree and Paralegal Studies Certificate from Rio Salado College and is continuing her education in Justice Studies at Northern Arizona University. Her education and hands-on experience have given her a strong foundation in Arizona criminal procedure, court practices, and client advocacy.
Known for her organization, attention to detail, and compassionate approach, Aiyana is dedicated to ensuring every case is thoroughly prepared while keeping clients informed and supported throughout the legal process. She understands the stress that accompanies criminal charges and is committed to providing dependable guidance and exceptional service every step of the way.
